Preventive Security Assessment Services, LLC (PSASLLC) is an independent security consulting firm. Changing the way businesses and individuals approach their safety is our primary goal. Through Proactive Methods and Informed Assessments, we help increase our clients’ likelihood of recognizing harmful conditions and how to react.

Marcello R. Kettrles CPP, PSP, CPD, CCE is a 30-year veteran in the field of Law Enforcement and Security Operations. Mr. Kettrles expertise includes the areas of championing unauthorized access to locations, equipment, and data; surveillance; emergency response to imminent and dangerous situations; and security risk analysis. Mr. Kettrles is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and is Board-Certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) and Physical Security Professional (PSP®), signifying he’s mastered seven (7) key security domains. Earning a (CPP®)—the Gold Standard in Security—provides independent confirmation of his ability to partner with top-level management and effectively provide comprehensive, integrated security strategies that protect organizations from a wide spectrum of risks.

Mr. Kettrles is a Certified Corrections Executive (CCE) with the American Correctional Association (ACA). This certification suggests Mr. Kettrles can successfully develop and implement policies and procedures for Adult Correctional Institutions on the Federal, State, and Local levels. Mr. Kettrles has retired from the NYC Department of Corrections after serving 20 years as a Corrections Officer on RIKERS ISLAND in East Elmhurst, New York. Mr. Kettrles currently provides Correctional Support with the UNITED STATES MARSHALS and the BUREAU OF PRISONS on the federal level in New York and New Jersey.

Marcello R. Kettrles has earned the National Institute of Crime Prevention (NICP) CPTED Professional Designation Certification (CPD). He is an expert in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design principles, skills, and the applications essential for creating a safer, healthier, and more sustainable human environment. CPTED is defined as “the Proper Design and Effective Use of the built environment that can reduce the fear and incidence of crime and improve the quality of life.”
